Greetings, My Dears!

Hooray, it's finally that beautiful, lush, green season here in the Shenandoah Valley.

So naturally it's time to present the brand-new issue of  The Green Silk Journal! We have been proudly publishing poetry and short stories at least twice a year since 2005! 

In this latest issue, along with some of our veteran writers, we have a few new wordsmiths sharing their beautiful words. 

Get some fresh air and sunshine, work in your garden! During a break, we hope you will savor the Current Issue-Spring 2026 Green Silk Journal!

Welcome to The Green Silk Journal!

It's starting to feel more like Fall, isn't it my Dears? Summer sure took its time saying goodbye this year here in the Shenandoah Valley.

For this issue, we've lined up some of our regulars like John Grey, Diane Webster and Carolyn Wolfe with a sprinkling of newcomers such as Rachel Turney, M.C. Aster and David Hutto. Don't forget to check out Angela Townsend's nonfiction piece, Coming and Going Feral.
