...The winter world was sick,
But now the scent of jasmine has revived it,
Rain falls, smelling of musk,
Stripping the earth of its white covering
The frozen treasure opens into flower...
~Rudaki~ from Spring
Greetings, My Dears!
Hooray, it's finally that beautiful, lush, green season here in the Shenandoah Valley.
So naturally it's time to present the brand-new issue of The Green Silk Journal! We have been proudly publishing poetry and short stories at least twice a year since 2005!
In this latest issue, along with some of our veteran writers, we have a few new wordsmiths sharing their beautiful words.
Get some fresh air and sunshine, work in your garden! During a break, we hope you will savor the Current Issue-Spring 2026 Green Silk Journal!
Much Warmth,
