But then, most nights were especially easy with the eternal torch Kierra always carried. She was the light of the world.  CoyoteBat would hide behind the bushes when Kierra had a stone seeker. Sometimes she didn’t seem to use a lot of words when consulting with them. It made CoyoteBat feel so warm to know they were truly special friends. And sometimes they would splash stars together all night. Some evenings, he’d help her gather new stones, to enhance the Knobs of The Universe, carefully selecting the right tones and colors.
